Robert W. HowardRobert W. Howard serves as Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations for  R.C. Hobbs overseeing the acquisition and entitlement process for the company's commercial division.  He graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Business Administration major. After service as a Captain in the Army Security Agency, he was employed by Republic National Bank of Dallas and thereafter became involved in the real estate marketplace.  Mr. Howard was a member of Coldwell Banker & Company and later  an owner and co-founding partner of three real property development firms: Asset Management Services, Inc., Howard & Howard, Inc. and Howard, Howard & Barnard.

Over the years, Mr. Howard's firms have developed, owned and managed in excess of $300,000,000 of real property throughout the United States, including Hawaii.

Mr. Howard is a founding Board member of the Discovery Museum of Orange County and the Discovery Science Center and served several terms as Board Chairman for each. He is a member and former Board of Governors Chairman of the Rose Institute of State and Local Government at Claremont McKenna College, and currently serves as Chairman of HomeWord, (formerly Youthbuilders and the National Institute of Youth Ministry), an organization for which he was a founding Board member. Mr. Howard also serves on the Board of Advisors at the Roger C. Hobbs Institute for Real Estate, Law and Environmental Studies.
